No Update Tomorrow

Hey y’all!

There will be no update tomorrow because I am going out of town.   I’ll be gone for eleven days.  We leave tomorrow for Colorado and we will get home on the 12th.   I’ll be bringing my dying laptop with me to try to work on the road, but I definitely won’t be able to get this week’s comic up by tomorrow.

Too bad, because it’s funny.

So perhaps you’ll get an update on Thursday or Friday, it depends on internet access and if my laptop decides it does actually want to work and not die.  The monitor is literally only held to the base by a few thin wires.

So, I’ll see y’all on Thursday or Friday, sorry about not having an update.

Another Tuesday, Another Update

It’s a new Tuesday!

We got a lot of hits to the comic yesterday. My dad sent out his newsletter and included the link to the comic in it.  All y’all who came to the comic through that link, please comment!

I had a lot of fun coloring this week’s comic and Cap’n Red certainly enjoyed drawing it.

Right now we’re experimenting with outlining in different colors and making the lines thinner.  I really liked Ferdi in this one.

Wesley

To answer Carly’s questions.

Wesley is Captain Red’s 6 month old kitten in real life.  The cat in the comic is named after that cat. =)  So no, he’s not named after Ron Weasley.

Wesley  does come from the Wesley in The Princess Bride, however.

All our cats are named after book or movie characters.

I really liked how this one came out.  I think it’s our best yet.  What’s y’alls opinions?

Cap’n Red did the drawings for this one before the first strip came out. I took them, made them proportional to each other, colored them in, and outlined everything… on the computer of course.
